1:26a And the man went to the land of the Hittites, built a city, and called it Luz,

The man went to the land of the people of Heth. He started a town there and named it Luz,

Then the man went to the place where the descendants of Heth lived. He built a town there and gave it the name Luz.

1:26b which is its name to this day.

which is still its name until today.

Even today, people still call that town Luz.
