1:3a Why do You make me see iniquity?

Why do you (sing.) force me to see ⌊all these⌋ evil deeds?
-or-
Why ⌊do you allow their⌋ sinful actions, so I must continue to suffer from them?
-or-
Why do you only make me look at the sins ⌊of people and do nothing about it⌋ ?
-or-
I ⌊do not want to ⌋ see wicked acts ⌊towards others any longer⌋ .

1:3b Why do You tolerate wrongdoing?

When you (sing.) see the evil ⌊that people⌋ do, ⌊why do you not do anything⌋ ?

Why do you ⌊not stop people who are⌋ doing evil things?

⌊You should act when⌋ you see evil things that someone is doing.

1:3c Destruction and violence are before me.

Everywhere I see/experience destruction and violent oppression.
