1:11a This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Edom, even four, I will not revoke My judgment,

Yahweh says this, “Because of three crimes of Edom, even more, I will not fail to punish them.

1:11b because he pursued his brother with the sword

For example, he chased his brothers with swords

1:11c and stifled all compassion;
