9:21a “Harness!” Joram shouted,

Joram said, “Make/Get my chariot ready.”

⌊King⌋ Joram gave orders ⌊to his man/servant⌋ to prepare/harness his war cart for him to ride.

9:21b and they harnessed his chariot.

When the chariot was ready,

So Joram’s man/servant prepared/harnessed his war cart.

9:21c Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah set out, each in his own chariot,

the king of Israel Joram and the king of Judah Ahaziah both set out. Each of them was in his own chariot.

Then King Joram set off in his war cart. King Ahaziah went ⌊with him⌋ but in his own war cart.

9:21d and met Jehu

They went to meet/face Jehu.

They went out to confront Jehu.

9:21e on the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

They met him in the plot of land that had ⌊earlier/previously⌋ belonged to Naboth of Jezreel.

-or-

The two kings came upon him in the field that Naboth from Jezreel ⌊town⌋ had once owned.
