8:6a When the king asked the woman,
The king asked the woman what had happened,

The king asked the woman, “Can you tell me your story?”
8:6b she confirmed it.
and she told him.

The woman ⌊agreed and⌋ told the king her story.
8:6c So the king appointed for her an officer, saying,
So the king chose one of his officers and told him,

After that, the king called one of his important men and charged him
8:6d “Restore all that was hers,
“Give back the property of this woman

⌊to make sure that⌋ the woman got/received back all that was hers.
8:6e along with all the proceeds of the field
and/with all the money that the crops from her fields/farm ⌊had made/earned⌋

⌊She should also get/receive back⌋ the total value/worth of what her land had produced
8:6f from the day that she left the country until now.”
during the time she was absent from Israel.”
