Section 8:25-29

Ahaziah ruled the kingdom of Judah

8:25a In the twelfth year of the reign of Joram son of Ahab over Israel,

During the twelfth year ⌊of the rule of⌋ Joram the son of king Ahab of Israel,

-or-

Joram was the son of Ahab king of Israel. When he had been king for about twelve years,

8:25b Ahaziah son of Jehoram became king of Judah.

the son of Jehoram, Ahaziah, became king of Judah.

Ahaziah became the king ⌊of the kingdom⌋ of Judah. He was the son of King Jehoram.
