8:11a Elisha fixed his gaze steadily on him

Elisha then stared closely/intently at Hazael

And Elisha looked steadily/carefully at Hazael.

8:11b until Hazael became uncomfortable.

until Hazael/he became confused/uncomfortable.

This made Hazael feel very awkward/embarrassed.

8:11c Then the man of God began to weep.

Then Elisha wept/cried.

Then tears began to pour/fall from Elisha’s eyes.
