Section 8:1-6
Elisha and the king helped the woman from Shunem
8:1a Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,
⌊Some years before,⌋ Elisha had spoken to the woman whose son he had made alive again. ⌊He told her⌋ ,

⌊Before the famine came,⌋ Elisha ⌊went to Shunem and⌋ spoke with the mother⌊ ⌋ of the boy he had brought back to life. ⌊He told/advised her⌋
8:1b “Arise, you and your household; go
“You (sing.) and your family should/must leave ⌊this place⌋ at once.
-or-
to go away from ⌊the land of Israel⌋ with her family
8:1c and live as a foreigner wherever you can.
Try to find somewhere else ⌊in a foreign country⌋ to stay.
-or-
and live in a different country/land for some time.
8:1d For the LORD has decreed a seven-year famine,
⌊You (plur.) must leave⌋ because Yahweh has decided there will be a famine in this country
-or-
⌊He warned her that⌋ Yahweh had declared that there would be a time of hunger in the land of Judah.
8:1e and it has already come to the land.”
for seven years.”

For seven years there would be little food to eat.
