6:20a When they had entered Samaria, Elisha said,
When they had entered Samaria, Elisha prayed ⌊to Yahweh⌋ . He said,

When they were ⌊all⌋ inside the city ⌊walls⌋ , Elisha prayed,

Elisha and the soldiers of Aram/Syria went inside the city of Samaria. There Elisha asked
6:20b “O LORD, open the eyes of these men that they may see.”
“Yahweh, open the eyes of these soldiers and let them see again.”
-or-
“Yahweh, ⌊now⌋ let these men be able to see with their eyes.”
-or-
Yahweh to heal the eyes of the soldiers so that they could see ⌊again⌋ .
6:20c Then the LORD opened their eyes, and they looked around
So Yahweh opened the soldiers’ eyes. They saw that
-or-
Yahweh answered Elisha’s prayer. The soldiers saw that
-or-
Yahweh healed their eyes. They looked around
6:20d and discovered that they were in Samaria.
they were inside the city of Samaria!

they were within ⌊the walls surrounding/of⌋ Samaria!
-or-
and ⌊were confused/horrified⌋ to see that they were ⌊standing⌋ inside Samaria ⌊city⌋ !
