SIL Translator’s Notes on 2 Kings 3:12

3:12a Jehoshaphat affirmed, “The word of the LORD is with him.”

Jehoshaphat said, “He has/speaks the word of Yahweh.”

-or-

Then ⌊King⌋ Jehoshaphat said, “He can ⌊tell/give us (incl.) ⌋ a message from Yahweh.”

3:12b So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

So ⌊Joram⌋ king of Israel, ⌊King⌋ Jehoshaphat, and the king of Edom went to ⌊talk to⌋ Elisha.

So he went with the kings of Israel and Edom to ⌊see/consult⌋ Elisha.
