23:27a For the LORD had said, “I will remove Judah from My sight,

23:27c I will reject this city Jerusalem, which I chose,

I will abandon Jerusalem, the city that I chose.

He warned that he would get rid of Jerusalem, the city that he had chosen.

23:27d and the temple of which I said, ‘My Name shall be there.’”

I will abandon this house, about which I said, ‘My name shall be ⌊worshiped⌋ there.’”

He would get rid of the temple, the place where he had said that ⌊people would honor⌋ him.
