23:24a Furthermore, Josiah removed the mediums and spiritists,

In addition, King Josiah removed ⌊from the land⌋ those who consulted the spirits of the dead and the fortune tellers.

Besides that, Josiah sent away the people who ⌊claimed they could⌋ talk to the spirits of the dead and predict the future.

23:24b the household gods and idols,

He also removed the home/household idols, other idols,

He also had/made people get rid of their family idols and other idols.

23:24c and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem.

and all the other abominable things found in Judah and Jerusalem ⌊city⌋ .

⌊He got rid of⌋ all the pagan worship objects in Jerusalem ⌊city⌋ and ⌊the rest of⌋ Judah.

23:24d He did this to carry out the words of the law

Josiah acted in this way to fulfill what the law required/commanded.

The king did so in order to obey the law of ⌊Yahweh⌋ .

23:24e written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had found in the house of the LORD.

This law was written in the scroll/book that Hilkiah the priest had found inside the house of Yahweh.
