22:16a that this is what the LORD says:

what Yahweh says.

this message from Yahweh.

22:16b I am about to bring calamity on this place and on its people,

Yahweh says, ‘I am going to do evil to this place and the people ⌊here⌋ .

-or-

Yahweh is going to cause ruin/destruction in this land. He is going to punish the people ⌊who live here⌋ .

22:16c according to all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read,

⌊I will fulfill⌋ every word that is written in the scroll/book that the king of Judah has read.

-or-

⌊He will do⌋ exactly as is written in the book ⌊of the law⌋ that the king of Judah read.
