21:8a I will never again cause the feet of the Israelites

Never again will I force the Israelites

Never again will I allow another nation/people to take the people of Israel

Yahweh said/promised that he would never again send the Israelites

21:8b to wander from the land that I gave to their fathers,

to leave the land that I gave to their ancestors.

away from the land that their forefathers received from me.

away from their homeland, the land that he had given their ancestors.

21:8c if only they are careful to do all I have commanded them—

But they must be careful to do everything I have commanded them.

⌊I will not allow this⌋ if they carefully obey what I command them.

But they must observe/keep all his commands,

21:8d the whole Law that My servant Moses commanded them.”

They must keep all the laws that my servant Moses gave to them.”

“Israel’s people must be careful to do everything I have commanded them. They must keep/respect all of the laws that my servant Moses gave to them. ⌊If they do this,⌋ then I will never again send them away from the land that I gave to their ancestors.”

Israel’s people must be careful to obey all that I commanded them, ⌊that is,⌋ all the laws that I gave to my servant Moses. ⌊If they obey them,⌋ I will never again remove them from the land that I gave to their grandfathers.”
