2:17a But when they pressed him
But they insisted

But the prophets continued to ask him ⌊to let them go⌋ .
2:17b to the point of embarrassment,
until he was ashamed.

Finally he felt that he could no longer deny ⌊their request⌋ ,
2:17c he said, “Send them.”
So he said, “You may go.”

And the fifty of them went
