18:14a So Hezekiah king of Judah sent word to the king of Assyria at Lachish, saying,
Then King Hezekiah of Judah sent this message to the king of Assyria, who was at Lachish:

Hezekiah sent a message to Sennacherib, who was ⌊already⌋ in ⌊the Judean city of⌋ Lachish.
18:14b “I have done wrong;
“What I have done was wrong.
-or-
He admitted that he had done wrong
18:14c withdraw from me,
⌊Please⌋ stop your attack on me,
-or-
⌊and asked Sennacherib⌋ to leave his ⌊land⌋ .
18:14d and I will pay whatever you demand from me.”
and I will give you as much as you want/require from me.”
-or-
⌊He promised/agreed⌋ to pay whatever price/bribe Sennacherib would demand from him.
18:14e And the king of Assyria exacted from Hezekiah king of Judah
The king of Assyria demanded that King Hezekiah of Judah pay him

Then Sennacherib, the ruler of Assyria, said that Hezekiah king of Judah must give/pay him
18:14f three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
three hundred (300) measures/units of silver and thirty (30) measures/units of gold.
