14:16a And Jehoash rested with his fathers

Jehoash went to be with his fathers/grandfathers.

Then Jehoash died.

14:16b and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.

He was buried in ⌊the city of⌋ Samaria, where Israel’s ⌊other⌋ kings were buried.

-or-

⌊His people⌋ buried his body in Samaria ⌊city⌋ , at the burial place of the kings of Israel.

14:16c And his son Jeroboam reigned in his place.

Then his son Jeroboam became the next king.

And then his son Jeroboam became king in his place.
