13:13a And Jehoash rested with his fathers,
Jehoash went to be with his ancestors.

This was the second king of Israel with the name Jeroboam. The Good News Translation therefore refers to him as Jeroboam II.
His son Jeroboam became the king ⌊of Israel⌋ in his place/stead.

13:13c Jehoash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
