13:11a And he did evil in the sight of the LORD

He/Jehoash did things that were evil in the sight of Yahweh.

-or-

The things that Jehoash did displeased Yahweh.

13:11b and did not turn away from all the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat

He did not abandon any of the evil practices that Nebat’s son Jeroboam had begun/followed,

-or-

Jehoash refused to stop doing any of the wicked/sinful things that King Jeroboam son of Nebat had done.

13:11c had caused Israel to commit,

the evil practices into which Jeroboam had led ⌊the people of⌋ Israel.

-or-

Jeroboam had encouraged/caused Israel’s people to do these wicked/sinful things,

13:11d but he walked in them.

⌊Instead⌋ he persisted in these evil practices.

-or-

and Jehoash continued to do these same things.
