8:16a Thus all the work of Solomon was carried out,

All the work that Solomon wanted to do was completed.

King Solomon finished all the work he had planned to do.

8:16b from the day the foundation was laid for the house of the LORD until it was finished.

This work started from the day they laid the foundation of the temple of Yahweh until they finished it.

He built Yahweh’s house, from laying its foundation through to the end.

8:16c So the house of the LORD was completed.

The temple of Yahweh was completed.

So they finished building the house of Yahweh.
