7:3a When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the LORD above the temple,

All the people of Israel saw the fire as it came down. They saw Yahweh’s glory above the temple.
-or-
All the Israel people saw the fire come down and they saw Yahweh’s presence over his house.

7:3b they bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground,

Then they knelt on the paved area and put their faces on the ground,
-or-
Then they bowed low with their faces touching the ground.

7:3c and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD:

and worshiped and thanked Yahweh.
-or-
They praised and thanked Yahweh ⌊for what he had done⌋.

7:3d “For He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.”

They said, “He is good and his loyal love lasts forever.”
-or-
They said, “You (sing) are good and there is no end to the loyalty you show to us.”
