7:10a On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, Solomon sent the people away to their homes,

It was the twenty-third day of the seventh month when the king sent the people back to their homes.

On day twenty-three (23) of month seven (7) King Solomon sent everyone home.

7:10b joyful and glad of heart for the good things that the LORD had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel.

They were joyous and happy because of all the good things that Yahweh had done for David and Solomon, and for his own people, the people of Israel.

The good things that Yahweh had done for them made their hearts happy and contented. He had done these things for King David and King Solomon as well as for his people Israel.
