6:18a But will God indeed dwell with man upon the earth?

“However, will you, God, actually live with mankind on earth?
-or-
“But God could not ever live on the earth with people.

6:18b Even heaven, the highest heaven, cannot contain You,

Neither the sky nor all the heavens have enough room for you.
-or-
The whole universe is not big enough for you,

6:18c much less this temple I have built.

Much less could you live in this temple I have made.
-or-
and this house is so much smaller than the universe.
