36:12a And he did evil in the sight of the LORD his God

He did what displeased Yahweh his God.

36:12b and did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet,

He was not willing to listen to the prophet Jeremiah

He did not admit to Jeremiah the prophet that he was wrong

36:12c who spoke for the LORD.

when Jeremiah received a message from Yahweh for him.
