31:14a Kore son of Imnah the Levite, the keeper of the East Gate,

Kore son of Imnah the Levite guarded the East Gate ⌊of the temple⌋.

The guard of the East Gate ⌊of Yahweh’s house⌋ was named Kore. He was the son of Imnah, ⌊from the clan⌋ of Levi.

31:14b was in charge of the freewill offerings given to God,

He was in charge of the gifts that people voluntarily gave to God.

He guarded the offerings that people brought ⌊in thanks⌋ to God.

31:14c distributing the contributions to the LORD and the consecrated gifts.

He distributed the things, including the sacred gifts that people had given to Yahweh.

He also distributed what was given, dividing the offerings ⌊among the sacrificers and the Levites⌋.
