30:6a So the couriers went throughout Israel and Judah

The king had invitations sent ⌊to people⌋ everywhere in Israel and in Judah.

30:6c “Children of Israel, return to the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel,

“All people in Israel, come back to Yahweh. He is the God of Abraham, of Isaac and of Israel.

“People of Israel, turn once again to Yahweh, the God whom ⌊our ancestors⌋ Abraham, Isaac and Jacob worshiped.

30:6d so that He may return to those of you who remain,

Do this so that he will come back to you, you who remain in the land,

30:6e who have escaped the grasp of the kings of Assyria.
