26:8a The Ammonites brought tribute to Uzziah,

The Ammonites paid taxes to Uzziah,
-or-
The Ammon people paid taxes to King Uzziah.

26:8b and his fame spread as far as the border of Egypt,

and his name became famous as far as the borders of Egypt,
-or-
People knew about him even in Egypt,

26:8c for he had become exceedingly powerful.

because he was such a powerful king.
-or-
because his kingdom was very powerful.
