23:15a So they seized Athaliah as she reached the entrance of the Horse Gate to the palace grounds,

So they caught her when she reached the entrance of the Horse Gate that enters the palace courtyard

They arrested her at the gate where horses went into the courtyard of the palace

23:15b and there they put her to death.

and they killed her there.
