Section 20:31-21:1

King Jehoshaphat ended his reign

20:31a So Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah.

So Jehoshaphat ruled the kingdom of Judah.

This is the way that King Jehoshaphat was king over Judah.

20:31b He was thirty-five years old when he became king,

He was thirty-five years old when he became king of Judah,
-or-
He started to rule Judah when he was thirty-five (35) years old.

20:31c and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-five years.

and he was king in Jerusalem for twenty-five years.
-or-
He ruled in Jerusalem for twenty-five (25) years.

20:31d His mother’s name was Azubah daughter of Shilhi.

His mother’s name was Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.

His mother was called Azubah who was the daughter of Shilhi.
