SIL Translator’s Notes on 2 Chronicles 19:10

19:10a For every dispute that comes before you from your brothers who dwell in their cities—

Suppose some Israelites⌋ come from the towns where they live and present a case to you.(plur)
-or-
It may happen that⌋ people who live in the one of the towns of Israel will come to you with their problems.

19:10b whether it regards bloodshed or some other violation of law, commandments, statutes, or ordinances—

This case may relate to a murder, to an application of the law, to a command, or to a rule or a custom.
-or-
The problem may be about a death. It may also be about a violation of a commandment or of some other law.

19:10c you are to warn them, so that they will not incur guilt before the LORD

You(plur) must warn them not to sin against Yahweh.
-or-
Your job is to teach them so that they will not sin against Yahweh.

19:10d and wrath will not come upon you and your brothers.

Then he will not be angry with you or with your people.
-or-
If they sin against him, he will be angry with you and with them.

19:10e Do this, and you will not incur guilt.

If you do so, you will not be guilty.
-or-
But if you obey these instructions, you will not sin.
