18:12a Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah instructed him,

The messenger who went to call Micaiah said to him,

The officer whom the king had sent found Micaiah and said to him,

18:12b “Behold, with one accord the words of the prophets are favorable to the king.

“Listen. All the other prophets are saying that the king will be victorious.

“Micaiah, let me tell you this. All your colleagues are telling the king that he will win the fight.

18:12c So please let your words be like theirs, and speak favorably.”

So make sure you agree with them and tell the king that he will win.”

When you get there, agree with them and say good things to the king.”
