8:29a May Your eyes be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said,

Please look toward this house night and day. ⌊For⌋ you said about it,

I pray that you will continually be watching this temple, day and night. You said that

8:29b ‘My Name shall be there,’

‘I will be present there.’
-or-
you would be present there.

8:29c so that You may hear the prayer that Your servant prays toward this place.

Then you will hear whenever ⌊I⌋, your servant, look toward your temple and pray.

So then you will hear the prayers that I, your servant, pray as I face your temple.
