7:12a The great courtyard was surrounded by three rows of dressed stone

The large court had a wall around it. This wall consisted of three layers of cut stone

He had them construct the wall for the large courtyard ⌊around his house⌋ with three rows of stone blocks.

7:12b and a row of trimmed cedar beams,

and one layer made from beams of cedar wood.

⌊For every three stone rows,⌋ there was also one row of pine planks/timber.

7:12c as were the inner courtyard and portico of the house of the LORD.

The inside courtyard of Yahweh’s temple and entryway was like this too.

⌊They constructed⌋ the inner yard of Yahweh’s house and porch in a similar manner.
