Solomon prepared to build the temple

5:13 Then King Solomon conscripted a labor force of 30,000 men from all Israel.

Then King Solomon ordered/forced 30,000 men from all over Israel to do some work for him.

Solomon formed a work/labor force/pool of thirty thousand (30,000) Israelite men.
