4:34a So men of all nations came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom,

People came from all nations/lands to listen to his wise words.

People came to him from all over the world to learn from his wise teaching.

4:34b sent by all the kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.

Kings all over the world sent them to Solomon, because they had all heard about how wise he was.

Many foreign kings heard how wise he was and so they sent their people to learn from him.
