2:34a So Benaiah son of Jehoiada went up, struck down Joab, and killed him.

Then Jehoiada’s son Benaiah went up to Joab and attacked and killed him.

2:34b He was buried at his own home in the wilderness.

Men/People buried him/Joab near where he had lived in the country/wildlands ⌊of Judah⌋.
