1:9a And Adonijah sacrificed sheep, oxen, and fattened calves near the stone of Zoheleth, which is next to En-rogel.
Then Adonijah told ⌊his men⌋ to kill/sacrifice some sheep, cattle, and fat calves at the rock ⌊called⌋ Zoheleth near ⌊the spring of water called⌋ En Rogel.

Next Adonijah ⌊arranged/organized a feast⌋. He ordered some sheep, beef-cattle, and fat young buffaloes/cows to be sacrificed/slaughtered at ⌊the place people called⌋ “Snake Rock.” This was near ⌊the source/spring of water that people called⌋ “Washer’s Spring.”
1:9b He invited all his royal brothers and all the men of Judah who were servants of the king.
Then he called all his brothers, King ⌊David’s⌋ ⌊other⌋ sons, and he called all the important men of ⌊the region/province of⌋ Judah to come ⌊to a feast⌋.

He invited all the ⌊other⌋ royal princes, that is, his ⌊younger⌋ brothers, and all the government officials/workers in Judah ⌊to the feast⌋.
