17:22 And the LORD listened to the voice of Elijah, and the child’s life returned to him, and he lived.

Yahweh listened to Elijah’s cry for help. So the life of the boy came back, and he revived.

Then the breath/life of the boy did return to him. Yahweh answered Elijah’s prayer for help, and the boy lived.
