16:26a For he walked in all the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat

He followed all the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat.

He did all the bad things that Jeroboam the son of Nebat had done.

16:26b and in his sins, which he caused Israel to commit,

He sinned in the same way that Jeroboam had caused the ⌊people of⌋ Israel to sin.

He did all the sins that Jeroboam had led/caused the people of Israel to do.

16:26c provoking the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger with their worthless idols.

Their idols had made Yahweh, the God of Israel angry/furious.

They had angered Yahweh, the God of Israel, by ⌊worshiping/honoring⌋ useless images/statues.

16:26b-c (reordered)

Yahweh had become angry with the people of Israel when Jeroboam caused them to worship idols. Now Omri did exactly the same thing as Jeroboam had done.
