Section 16:15-20

King Zimri ruled Israel

16:15a In the twenty-seventh year of Asa’s reign over Judah,

In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah,
-or-
When King Asa had ruled Judah for about 27 years,

16:15b Zimri reigned in Tirzah for seven days.

Zimri became king ⌊of Israel⌋. He ruled there from/in ⌊the city of⌋ Tirzah for ⌊only⌋ seven days.
-or-
for seven days Zimri ruled ⌊Israel⌋ from Tirzah ⌊city⌋.

16:15c Now the troops were encamped against Gibbethon of the Philistines,

The army ⌊of Israel⌋ was besieging/surrounding a Philistine town called Gibbethon.
-or-

At that time⌋ the ⌊Israelite⌋ troops were getting ready to attack Gibbethon town in the land of the Philistines.
