Section 15:33-16:7

King Baasha ruled Israel

15:33a In the third year of Asa’s reign over Judah,

In the third year ⌊of the rule/reign⌋ of Asa king of Judah,
-or-
When Asa had been king in/over Judah for about three years,

15:33b Baasha son of Ahijah became king of all Israel,

Baasha son of Ahijah started to rule all Israel at Tirzah.
-or-
Baasha the son of Ahijah became the king of all Israel, ⌊ruling⌋ from Tirzah ⌊city⌋.

15:33c and he reigned in Tirzah twenty-four years.

He ruled for twenty-four years.
-or-
He was king for twenty-four years.
