13:13a So the prophet said to his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.”

So he said to his sons, “Put a cloth/seat on the donkey for me.”
-or-
So the aged/elderly prophet told his sons to make his/the donkey ready for him to ride.

13:13b Then they saddled the donkey for him, and he mounted it

And when they had made the donkey ready, the old prophet got on it

They did so and he sat on the donkey
