10:27a The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones,

The king brought so much silver into Jerusalem that it became as common as stones,

During Solomon’s reign, you/one could see as many silver ⌊items/articles⌋ in Jerusalem as there were stones.

10:27b and cedar as abundant as sycamore in the foothills.

and cedar wood became as common as fig trees in the western hills.

⌊Beautiful/Precious⌋ cedar lumber/timber was as plentiful as the ⌊ordinary⌋ fig trees in the hill country of Judah.
