15:42a So will it be with the resurrection of the dead:

It will be the same with the dead who are raised to life.

⌊When seeds sprout into plants,⌋ it is like what happens when the dead rise again.

15:42b What is sown is perishable;

The body that is buried will decay,

Our (incl.) bodies now are going to die and decay,

15:42c it is raised imperishable.

but when ⌊God⌋ raises it from the dead, it will never decay again.

but when they rise to life they will not decay any more.
