Believers should worship God in an orderly way

14:1a Earnestly pursue love

Follow after love,
-or-
Make your (plur.) goal be to love ⌊other people⌋,

14:1b and eagerly desire spiritual gifts,

and be eager to have the spiritual gifts,
-or-
and try hard to have the gifts that the Holy Spirit gives.

14:1c especially the gift of prophecy.
