27:20a over the Ephraimites was Hoshea son of Azaziah;

27:20b over one of the half-tribes of Manasseh was Joel son of Pedaiah;

⌊The leader⌋ of half of the tribe of West Manasseh was Pedaiah’s son Joel. ⌊They lived west of the Jordan River.⌋
