21:10a “Go and tell David that this is what the LORD says:

21:10b ‘I am offering you three options.

‘I could punish you in three different ways. (Translation for Translators)

“You have your choice of three punishments.

21:10c Choose one of them, and I will carry it out against you.’”

I will do whichever one you choose.’”

You must choose one of them, and that is what I will do to punish you.”
