19:6a When the Ammonites realized that they had become a stench to David,

The Ammonites saw that they had angered David very much.

The leaders of⌋ the Ammon ⌊people⌋ realized that they had ⌊deeply⌋ offended David.

19:6b Hanun and the Ammonites sent a thousand talents of silver

So⌋ Hanun and ⌊his⌋ Ammonite ⌊people⌋ sent thirty four thousand (34,000) kilos of silver

Therefore the Ammon people paid over thirty (30) tons of silver

19:6c to hire for themselves chariots and horsemen from Aram-naharaim, Aram-maacah, and Zobah.

to hire chariots and their drivers. ⌊They hired⌋ them from Aram-naharaim, Aram-maacah and Zobah.
