16:37a So David left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD

Then David left Asaph and his brothers before Yahweh’s box of the agreement of Yahweh.

Afterward, David left Asaph and his ⌊other⌋ fellow ⌊Levites⌋ in front of the box of promise ⌊which belonged to⌋ Yahweh.

16:37b to minister there regularly according to the daily requirements,

⌊He left them there⌋ to serve regularly ⌊and fulfill⌋ the requirements for each day.

⌊They were⌋ to serve there regularly, ⌊and do everything⌋ that needed to be done day by day.
