16:35a Then cry out: ‘Save us, O God of our salvation;

Say(plur) to ⌊him⌋ , ‘O God our Savior, save us!(excl.)
-or-
Speak ⌊this prayer⌋ , ‘Rescue us, O God who is our rescuer!

16:35b gather and deliver us from the nations,

Assemble(sing) us ⌊together⌋ and save us from ⌊foreign⌋ nations.
-or-
Gather us together and rescue us from ⌊the harm of other⌋ nations.

16:35c that we may give thanks to Your holy name,

⌊If you(sing) do that,⌋ we will thank your holy name,
-or-
Then you who are holy, we will thank you ⌊when you do that for us⌋ .

16:35d that we may glory in Your praise.’

and be proud ⌊to sing⌋ your praises.’

⌊We will be⌋ happy to praise you.’
